and rollout

Awards: 

Loerie Awards - Logo design finalist.

The brief, in brief: 

GWK has been a long standing agricultural firm within South Africa. They are a trusted and well-known brand. They felt that the time was right for them to change their brand to reflect innovative, world class products. The basic thought for the logo comes from GWK's unique origin. The business started at the convergence of 2 of South Africa's biggest rivers, the Orange and the Vaal. The logo also showcases the 2 most important parts in their brand, nature and the people.

The logo idea expands beyond the 2 rivers into GWK's philosophy of 2 dynamic elements coming together.

- Nature and technology

- Community and business

- Consumer and farmer

- Ideas and execution

- Focus and direction

​

These 2 elements form a sweet spot in the middle. A point of convergence that represents potential, new beginnings, oppotunities and discovery.
